done everything to minimize the revolutionary work of

others, while they themselves have shut up their doors

and done nothing. They have even usurped the control

of the various Revolutionary Departments thinking that

a single class and a small number of mem can monopolize

all the enterprises of the Nationalist Revolution. This

is indeed autocracy. All of you must understand that if

we desire the success of our Revolution, we must lead

the masses of all classes of our country to put forth all

their efforts in the fight under the same

revolutionary flag. This is the responsibility devolving

on the Kuomintang and all our members.

Taking the present circumstances into review

it appears to us that the National Revolutionary Movement

of China can never be carried out under the autocracy

or monopoly of a small number of men. We must wake up the masses throughout China and make them join the Revolution with the slogan, "Down with Militarisu and Imperialism" on our banners. Only this can be reckoned as real revolution. Any selfish members, who turn the advantages of the Revolution to the profit of their own faction, expel those who are not their friends, and monopolize all administrative power, not only rendering the masses already awakened unable to act or co-operate with us in our revolutionary work, but on the contrary compelling

them to resort to reactionary work, are not doing their

duty as members of our Kuomintang.

Since I became a disciple of our late President, all of you, I presume, have been well acquainted with my conduct, and it is unnecessary for me to talk too

much of myself. I can aver at least that I am a loyal member of the Kuomintang and a faithful servant of our

President
